About Me
Laura Gullett
Man I miss my Vespa! (I only crashed it once...)
Cooking with Nonna Rosa. I spent a few Christmases with her sweet family in Southern Italy
My first experience living in Italy was in 2009, when I was a college student aimlessly wandering the streets of Florence with a film camera in my hand. I'd always been fascinated with Italy, but living there for a summer cemented a life-long love of all things Italian. There are certain experiences that shape you, and Florence very much did. I discovered a love for a people and a culture (and its food...oh my goodness...) through experience. My husband and I had the privilege of working with a university ministry in Bologna from 2014 to 2020, and again working in ministry in Milan for one year in 2021. Our hearts are forever Italian. My goal in working with you is to hopefully give you a taste of the country that is so special to me.

Most of the places that I recommend, I've either visited, stayed in (or wanted to), dined in, or seen. I don't do partnerships or get commission from places, ensuring that I'm sending you to good, authentic restaurants and experiences. I speak Italian and will happily coordinate and take care of bookings. I know firsthand how stressful and disappointing a bad experience traveling can be, especially with flying across the world to have it. Let me create your trip as YOUR trip, not someone else's. I'd love to make your time in Italy effortless, flawless, and unforgettable in the best of ways.

How it works: we can sit down in person or through Zoom and do a consultation about your trip. I'll create a personalized itinerary and walk you through it!

Thanks so much for dropping by! I can't wait to work with you.
